The  question of salvation is the most important question you must answer.   This question determines where you will spend eternity.  Will it be in heaven with your creator or will it be in hell, in torment?

• Believe in Jesus
• Repent of your sins to God
• Confess Jesus
• Be Baptized
• Continue to be Faithful

HEAVEN:

Mat 25:34 "Then the King will say to those on His right hand, 'Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

 HELL:

Mat 25:41 "Then He will also say to those on the left hand, 'Depart from Me, you cursed, into the everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels.
 
Salvation is necessary because your sins have separated you from God.  The good news is God wants you to be right in his sight.  You can be right with God through His son Jesus.  Jesus paid the penalty for sin by His death on the cross,  His burial and resurrection. 

To be saved you must believe in Him, repent of your sins (turning from sins) confess that Jesus is the Son of God.  This is followed by baptism in water (Acts 2:37-38) for the forgiveness of your sins and then you can start living the Christian life. This is what salvation is about.  As you read your bible, pray, and share your faith you will grow in your Christian life.
